Verified by campus email
Access is gated to APU email domains, so everyone on the board is someone you could run into on campus. That single constraint is what replaces a ratings system.

Fixed-location matching
Users create or join ride matches at fixed locations rather than arbitrary pickup points, which keeps the matching problem small enough to stay reliable.

Hand off to Teams
Coordination happens in Microsoft Teams, where students already are. APRide is deliberately not a ride-hailing, payments, driver, map, advertising or chat platform — it is the matching board and nothing else.
Built with
Next.js App Router and TypeScript, Tailwind with local shadcn-style primitives, Supabase for auth, Postgres, row-level security and RPC, deployed on Vercel and verified with Playwright and Vitest. Shipped on Google Play and to the App Store from the same codebase under net.apride.app.
