The browser holds a real media connection
The browser connects directly to a Python FastRTC service for WebRTC audio and video, rather than posting audio clips to an endpoint. That is what makes the conversation continuous and interruptible instead of turn-by-turn.

A gateway owns everything else
A NestJS gateway holds identity, sessions, history, robot tasks, Redis events and Socket.IO delivery — so the media path stays thin and the stateful parts stay out of it.

Continuous interruptible conversation, optional wake words, push-to-talk, typed chat, partial captions, translation and video person detection, with live reliability telemetry alongside.
Built with
A React operator workspace, a NestJS gateway, a Python FastRTC voice service handling VAD, streaming and fallback speech recognition, the agent loop and synthesis, plus a YOLO/ByteTrack vision service. Event contracts are shared as TypeScript with generated JSON Schema.
