HipiMind is a voice-first AI travel companion that plans and narrates. Talk to it in real time to turn a loose idea into a day-by-day itinerary with maps, then listen to long-form, interruptible audio guides as you go. Visual assistance (formerly SightLine) is in development, not available today.

How it works

Talk, and it plans
Turn-based planning runs speech recognition into a language model and back out through text-to-speech, so a loose idea becomes a day-by-day itinerary with maps without you typing anything.

Then it narrates
The second mode produces long-form travel podcasts you can interrupt, with chapter bookmarks and resume — so a guide keeps its place when you stop to look at something.

One shared contract
Both modes sit on the same itinerary contract, travel context, preference model and tool layer, which is why what you said while planning still holds while you are on the ground.
Built with
A Next.js workspace with a Python backend, Supabase persistence and Redis. Voices come from ElevenLabs multilingual when configured, with Deepgram Aura-2 as the fallback path; with ElevenLabs present, narration is performed expressively and chapters open with generated ambient sound.
Current status
Live at hipimind.com. Visual assistance — the capability previously called SightLine — is in development and is not part of the product today.
